This is an example of the type of person my music magazine is aimed at. She is 17 years old and is in a sixth form college. She studies A level music and plays the guitar and bass. She is also in a local band that plays gigs regularly. She rarely watches TV as she is usually on the internet or out with her friends but when she does watch TV she mostly watches programs like Scrubs and Skins. She has a little sister and lives with her mum and dad. She has a part time job in a corner shop and she is taking 4 A levels and plans to go to University.

Question 5: How did you attract/address your audience?

Question 6: What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I used different types of technology in the process of creating my magazine, some programs and techniques I had never used before, such as Quark express. I have learnt how to used Quark Express to the level of making a contents page and double page spread. Using photoshop before I was confident with using the software but during making my magazine I learnt lots of new processes such as adding drop shadows, how to put models infront of titles and how to merge pictures. Learning these techniques made me a lot more confident using these programs and made my overall product look better. I used the microsoft office programs to make graphs and type up written work, I learnt how to make different types of graphs on excel and how to make them more understandable. I now understand how the process of desk top publishing works and how easy it would be for a people to make magazines using computer programs.
